Role andamp; Responsibilities:
Reporting directly into the Procurement Director, the Buyer will have the opportunity to assist the Senior Buyers with the procurement of materials for a variety of trades involved in major commercial and residential schemes.andnbsp;
Duties will include:
andbull; Procuring materials within budgets on time to progress works on site.
andbull; Producing monthly budgetary control reports on all materials purchased for each site.
andbull; Scheduling of materials and completion of requisitions.
andbull; Ensuring all materials are purchased on time, to specification and at the best price available
andbull; General administrative duties
andbull; Resolving disputes and account queries between suppliers and the company.
andbull; The ability to work to strict deadlines
andbull; The ability to contribute positively to a team as well as being self motivated and to be able to work on their own initiative.
andbull; Able to accept criticism and work well under pressure.
andbull; Able to carry out basic tasks on a computer andamp; Excel
andbull; Ensuring all documentation meets formal requirements and required standards.
andbull; Sorting, storing and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents on behalf of the team.
Training will be provided.
