Aspire People is recruiting Biology specialists for secondary schools across East Birmingham, with teaching opportunities available from Monday 2 November and throughout the remainder of the academic year.

WHAT OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE?

We recruit for daily supply, short-term cover, regular weekly bookings and long-term Biology teaching positions, alongside potential permanent opportunities.

Depending on your experience and the school's requirements, assignments may involve delivering general Science across KS3, GCSE Biology and Combined Science at KS4, or A Level Biology at KS5.

Longer-term roles may include planning, marking, assessment, practical investigations and preparing pupils for their GCSE and A Level examinations.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You will need QTS or QTLS, strong Biology subject knowledge and the confidence to deliver engaging lessons within a secondary school environment.

We're interested in teachers who can make scientific concepts accessible, maintain positive classroom routines and adapt their teaching to support pupils with different abilities and learning needs.

Strong behaviour management, reliability and a professional approach are essential.

We welcome applications from experienced Biology Teachers and Early Career Teachers, including those looking to secure their first substantial teaching assignment.
