The Role
As an Auto Electrician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing electrical systems and equipment across a range of vehicles.
Your responsibilities will include:
andmiddot;Diagnosing electrical and electronic faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment
andmiddot;Repairing vehicle wiring, electrical systems, and components
andmiddot;Tracing and rectifying complex electrical faults
andmiddot;Installing bespoke electrical equipment and vehicle accessories
andmiddot;Fitting parking sensors and additional electrical equipment to older vehicles
andmiddot;Testing electrical systems following repairs and installations
andmiddot;Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
andmiddot;Accurately recording completed repairs and installations
andmiddot;Working efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail

About You
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
andmiddot;NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant automotive or electrical discipline
andmiddot;Previous experience as an Auto Electrician, Vehicle Electrician, Automotive Electrician, or similar
andmiddot;Strong vehicle electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills
andmiddot;Experience repairing vehicle wiring and electrical systems
andmiddot;Experience installing aftermarket or bespoke electrical equipment
andmiddot;The ability to work confidently and independently when diagnosing faults
andmiddot;Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
andmiddot;A practical, problem-solving approach
